About the Firm

Bercow Radell & Fernandez specializes in real estate law, handling matters that include zoning approvals, amendments of local government comprehensive plans, developments of regional impact (DRIs), due diligence reviews, growth management, impact fees, concurrency issues and environmental matters.
Our attorneys have represented clients before such local governments as Miami-Dade County, Miami, Coral Gables, Miami Springs, Aventura, Pinecrest, Miami Beach, Medley, North Miami Beach, North Miami, Key Biscayne, Opa-Locka, South Miami, Hialeah, Pembroke Pines, Greenacres, Plantation, Homestead, Miami Gardens, North Bay Village, Bay Harbor Islands, and Doral.

Members of the firm appear frequently before the South Florida Regional Planning Council, Miami-Dade County's Board of County Commissioners, Community Councils/Zoning Appeals Boards, Planning Advisory Board, and the Environmental Quality Control Board; the City of Miami Beach City Commission, Zoning Board of Adjustment, Design Review Board/Historic Preservation Board, and Planning Board; City of Miami City Commission, Zoning Board, and Planning Advisory Board; the South Florida Water Management District; the St. John's Water Management District, and other local governmental bodies, and also frequently lobbies staff of the Florida Department of Community Affairs.
