Michael E. Radell is a shareholder of Bercow Radell & Fernandez, P.A. Mr. Radell previously practiced environmental and land use law with Stroock & Stroock & Lavan and with Steel Hector & Davis. He has practiced environmental and land use law for approximately 18 years.

Mr. Radell has represented industrial and commercial developers, mining companies, and lending institutions in land use and environmental permitting matters at the local, state and federal levels involving Florida projects. Mr. Radell also represents clients in real estate transactions with regard to environmental and land use due diligence issues involving vacant and developed properties.

Mr. Radell has also negotiated settlement agreements with environmental regulatory agencies including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, South Florida Water Management District, the Broward County Department of Natural Resources Protection, and the Dade County Department of Environmental Resources Management.

Mr. Radell is a member of the Local Government Law Section and the Environmental and Land Use Law Section of the Florida Bar. He is also a member of the State and Local Government Law Section and the Natural Resources, Energy and Environmental Law Section of the American Bar Association. Mr. Radell is a member of the Industrial Association of Dade County and the Builders Association of South Florida.

Prior to his practice in law, Mr. Radell was an environmental planner for Dade County from 1976 through 1985. He was involved in the development of Dade County's Severable Use Rights Ordinance and was also the author of Dade County's Infill Development Strategies Report. Mr. Radell was also actively involved in the development of the East Everglades Management Plan.
